“We saw Maleny Country Estate on Instagram, and despite it being pretty early days we were interested in the fact that everyone could stay on site for the weekend. We had a lot of interstate guests who we don’t get to see enough and wanted to make it easy for them, but also spend as much time as possible with our friends. We also really wanted to have everyone important to us there, and a lot of venues in the area did not cater to weddings for more than 120 people. We also really liked the idea of a DIY venue, because we wanted to customise so many aspects of our wedding and ultimately, we were able to choose everything from the food and alcohol to the marquee and setup.

Maleny Country Estate was the only venue we looked at and as soon as we visited we knew it was perfect. We were impressed right from the start. But over time what made it really special was the huge amount of effort that Amanda, Mick and Victoria put in to making our weekend special. Not only did they work tirelessly to make sure the grounds were looking amazing in the lead up to our day. But they also went out of their way to make us feel welcome every time we visited.

We spent the weekend at Maleny Country Estate with our parents about 6 months out from the wedding and were welcomed so warmly it felt like we were visiting friends. It made the day all the more special and comfortable. All our guests commented how much they loved staying there, but also how seamlessly all the events of the weekend flowed. We loved being able to accommodate our whole bridal party and their partners, stay up chatting late into the night and enjoy a relaxed recovery brunch by the pool.”
